Legal Plans and Title Deeds

When buying and selling a property an accurate Title Deed plan must be submitted to Registers of Scotland as part of the registration process.

We can prepare these title deed plans on Ordnance Survey base data and, where necessary, carry out an accurate topographic boundary survey to establish the extent of your property.

All plans are prepared in accordance with the Registers of Scotland Deed Plan Criteria.

Boundary Disputes

A common area of dispute is exactly where the line of the boundary lies between adjacent properties.  To avoid potentially lengthly and expensive disputes it is best to get advice early.

Our experienced team have the combined skills to provide a service in land surveying and deed mapping and interpretation to establish the most accurate record of your boundary.  We are best placed to interpret the deeds, plans and maps available and to understand their limitations.

Most disputes can be resolved amiciably but should the need arise our staff can provide advice, reports and give evidence in court, if necessary.
